We're so glad that you have decided to take the risk and submit your photos. We say risk because we know that not every photo will be accepted and we understand how rejection of your hard work can be discouraging. Don't let it be. Just for the record most professional photographers are happy if they get one or two good marketable photos per thirty or forty. That's right the pros don't take a Pulitzer Prize winning photo every time they click the shutter. What sets them apart is their ability and knowledge to constructivly critisize their own work and make corrections. With that said, every photo we reject will come with a full explanation of where it needs improvement. We encourage you to try again and resubmit. Your passion is not to be taken lightly and we don't. So please send us your work and we will either market it or help you improve it. Good luck to you and thank you for your submission.
THE SUBMISSION PAGE
- Instructions for submission
- We ask that you don't submit more than ten photos in one submission. It takes us some time to go over the photos and since this is your hard work we don't want to be rushed. Every submission will either be followed with a acceptance verification, or a rejection explanation so please be sure that you supply us with an e-mail address that you check regularly. The first time that we accept one of your photos you will recieve a contract in the mail. Please feel free to go over this contract with an attorney if you wish, but be advised that we cannot market your photos until we recieve the contract signed and noterized by you.
Now about the submission process. On submissions of up to two photos, you can copy and paste the photos to the submission form. If you are submitting more than two photos please place the photos in a folder and submit the entire folder. Use your last name accompanied by a number as the folder name. This will make it easier for us to keep track of each photographers photos. The number can be any number you choose as long as you keep track of it as well. All photos must contain the EXIF "meta" data. To check if this information is attached you will need to open your photos in any photo editing program. There are some very good programs on the Internet that you can download for free, such as Picasa by Google. Once you have the photo open in an editor right click on the photo and click on properties. You should get a list of exposure settings such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO speed, etc. If this information is present then your ready to submit.
